Kitchen Update

019
My first blog post was my $75 kitchen remodel.   It has been missing something, and I finally figured it out when I saw this post from Missy at Little Green Bean.  It needed another window.

014

I have a stack of old windows that I’ve been dying to use.

002
I cleaned it up and painted it my favorite red color.

015

I bought some chains from Home Depot and screwed it in the ceiling.  Super Easy!

013

I ABSOLUTLY love how it turned out.  And it has officially taken place of my favorite project so far this year.  Sorry porch bench, but I still love you!

020

I bought some things at the DI to decorate with and wrapped it with grape vine.  LOVING IT!

009

While finding items to decorate with, I found this old tea pot and spray painted it red and put it above my cupboards along with this great crate.

One more picture to admire!

This is AWESOME !!! I love how small my kitchen is when it's time to clean. But the more I'm seeing such cool decor out here in blog land the more I wish it was bigger. Now I really wish it had more soace ! I'd love to be able to do this I love the look of a pot rack but hate all the stuff hanging down. This is so much better !! Thanks for sharing ! I found you thru Mad Skills Monday at mad in crafts !

Hey Kerstin~

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and left me some love on my hinges project. You made my day! I LOVE this window idea. I have a project in the works with an old french door. I wish it wasn't so stinkin' heavy so I could hang it like this. SO CUTE! I'm a followin' ya!

What a clever idea! (Thanks for stopping by my blog too!) I'm your newest follower. I'm curious though...with 4 kids, how do you find the time to do all these amazing projects? I only have 2 kiddos and it seems almost impossible to get anything done!
